The unique rental, located inside a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment on 5th Street near San Jose State University, includes a compact living area under the staircase that “fits a cot perfectly,” according to the ad. The tenant must be comfortable with minimal space and willing to handle some household chores. In exchange, they receive access to the apartment’s kitchen, internet, bathroom, TV, and Xbox, with utilities included.
