HBO Harry Potter TV Series Cast: Hogwarts Students Revealed for Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff
Oliver Wood, Lee Jordan, Pansy Parkinson, Padma Patil and a full Quidditch roster have officially been sorted into their houses ahead of the show's 2027 HBO debut.

The Sorting Hat has been working overtime. HBO's upcoming Harry Potter series has officially unveiled a sweeping new batch of cast members, revealing the young actors who will populate Hogwarts' four houses when the show debuts in 2027.
The news, announced via the official Wizarding World website, fills out a significant chunk of the student body around series leads Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton and Alastair Stout, who play Harry, Hermione and Ron respectively. The latest additions span Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin, and include several familiar names from across J.K. Rowling's seven novels.
Gryffindor Students
Leading the charge for the brave and bold is Orson Matthews, who has been cast as Oliver Wood, the proud and famously intense Gryffindor Quidditch captain, according to Wizarding World. Joining him on the pitch are Asha Soetan as Angelina Johnson, Eire Farrell as Katie Bell and Serrana Su-Ling Bliss as Alicia Spinnet, filling out the Gryffindor Chasers.
Rounding out the house is Ethan Smith as Lee Jordan, the Weasley twins' best friend and the unforgettable Quidditch commentator whose biased play-by-play is destined to be a fan favorite.

Hufflepuff Students
Per Wizarding World, India Moon will play Hannah Abbott, while James Trevelyan Buckle has been cast as Justin Finch-Fletchley, the Muggle-born wizard originally bound for Eton before his Hogwarts letter arrived. Cian Eagle-Service joins as Ernie MacMillan and Jazmyn Lewin will play Susan Bones, completing the Hufflepuff core for Harry's year.

Ravenclaw Students
Anjula Murali has been cast as Padma Patil, twin sister of Gryffindor's Parvati. Aaron Zhao will play Terry Boot, another Ravenclaw in Harry's year. Scarlett Archer takes on the role of Penelope Clearwater, the older Ravenclaw prefect, and Eve Walls rounds out the house as Lisa Turpin, per Wizarding World.

Slytherin Students
The serpent house arrives with a deep roster, particularly on the Quidditch front. Oliver Croft has landed the role of Slytherin Quidditch captain Marcus Flint. He'll be flanked by D'Angelou Osei-Kissiedu as Graham Montague and Dylan Heath as Adrian Pucey on the Chaser line. Cornelius Brandreth has been cast as Seeker Terence Higgs, with Eddison Burch as Keeper Miles Bletchley. James Dowell and Henry Medhurst take on the bruising Beater roles of Lucian Bole and Peregrine Derrick.
Off the pitch, Laila Barwick will play Pansy Parkinson, the sharp-tongued friend of Draco Malfoy (Lox Pratt) who's set to be a thorn in Hermione's side for years to come.
The casting blitz fits the show's enormous scope. HBO has confirmed plans to adapt all seven of Rowling's Harry Potter novels into seven seasons of television over roughly a decade, with the first season debuting in 2027.
Behind the scenes, Francesca Gardiner serves as writer, showrunner and executive producer, with Mark Mylod attached to direct multiple episodes and executive produce. Rowling, Neil Blair and Ruth Kenley-Letts of Brontë Film and TV, and David Heyman of Heyday Films are also executive producers. Warner Bros. Television is the studio, with the series produced in association with Brontë Film and TV.
When it lands, the show will air on HBO and stream on HBO Max in available markets, including newer launch territories Germany and Italy, as well as the U.K. and Ireland, where HBO Max is confirmed to roll out in late March, according to Wizarding World.
